Enrollment Process

 Enrolling in Kaleido*Kids is easy as 1, 2, 3!

STEP 1- The Inquiry

Please complete the Inquiry Form on our website - click on the 'CONTACT US' button along top menu.

--> Timeline: To keep our information current, we begin responding to inquiries 3–4 months prior to your desired start date. (e.g. for a July 1st start, we would contact you in mid-to-late March if we'll have availability in July).

--> We reach out to families (to set up a tour) based on the date the inquiry form was submitted. If we dont hear a reply within 48 hours we would reach out to the next family.

--> Note: Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a spot; it is the preliminary step to gather your information before scheduling a tour.

STEP 2: THE TOUR & NEXT OPTIONS

After your tour, we will determine the best path forward based on current availability:

--> Option A: The Waitlist - If we're currently at capacity or you are awaiting your baby’s arrival, we'll add you to our waitlist (we do not charge a fee to join this list). You can update us once your baby arrives and we can discuss availability at that time.

--> Option B: Immediate Enrollment - If space permits and you're ready to join the KaleidoKids family, we can move directly to the final enrollment step.

Options A & B apply to kids of all ages, not just infants, but most of the time we have some availability for older kids while infant space is always on a waitlist due to limited spots.

*Please note we require an exact start date before we can confirm a spot.

STEP 3:SECURE SPOT

--> Once the Director confirms a spot is available, and we agree on your child’s official ‘start date’, we'll send the KaleidoKids (KK) Enrollment Packet.

--> To ensure the process is fair and efficient for all families, we require the following within 48 hours of the enrollment packet being sent:

  1. Completed KK application form – emailed back to Director/Lori
  2. First full-month payment plus registration fee
  3. First payment will be made via zelle (username: kaleidokids-chicago)
